The United Opposition is once again speaking in many political tongues, after Cleophas Malala burst into the scene with fresh and fiery claims that have now thrown the coalition into a new round of confusion.
His declaration that Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya is an NIS mole has sent shockwaves through the already shaky alliance, creating a spectacle that Kenyans are now watching with laughter, disbelief and, of course, a bit of popcorn.

Campaigns for the November 27 by-elections have exposed how deep the cracks run inside the coalition.
Leaders who once stood shoulder to shoulder are now picking sides, throwing jabs and exchanging sharp words over which candidates should step down and which ones should soldier on.
At the centre of the drama sits the Kisa East Ward race, where DCP and DAP-Kenya are fighting not just UDA, but each other too. And with every rally, the tension grows louder.
Malala, the DCP Deputy Party Leader, escalated the storm on Friday with an explosive accusation that Natembeya was allegedly being used by the National Intelligence Service to divide the opposition from within.

“Mimi nashangaa gavana Natembeya ni mtu wa heshima lakini nagundua uko na ile akili ya askari…unakula kwa mshtakiwa, unakula kwa mfungwa na kwa hakimu…Natembeya anatumiwa na NIS akuje agonganishe United Opposition,” Malala claimed.
Natembeya, the DAP-K Deputy Party Leader, did not waste a second firing back. His response was brief, sharp and aimed straight at Malala.
“Mimi sijawahi kula pesa ya Ruto hata shilingi moja, wale wamekula pesa ya Ruto wanajulikana.”
And the political fireworks did not stop there. Earlier, Natembeya had called for the DCP candidate in Kisa East to step down for a DAP-K candidate, a suggestion that angered Malala who said the proposal went against resolutions the coalition had already agreed on.
“Serikali imeona kwamba tunaenda kushinda viti vyote ikaita George Natembeya ikampa pesa akuje hapa Kisa achokore hapa ndio serikali ishinde,” Malala insisted.
